Color ideas before you put marker to paper
Choose colors for your own coloring page.
ColorBestie makes a colored example from a photo or scan of your own coloring page. Explore a mood or color direction, then use the preview as inspiration while you color on paper with your markers or pencils.

Which app helps me choose colors for my coloring book?
If you want to see one possible finished version of a page before coloring it, ColorBestie can help. Upload your own line drawing, choose a mood and style, and generate a color preview. You can explore another direction and keep the ideas you like in your gallery.
You do not need to paint every area on a screen to get a preview. ColorBestie uses AI to suggest a colored version; you decide what to take from it. Details can change, and the image is a reference rather than a prediction of your exact finished page.

How do I preview my own coloring page?
- Take a clear photo or scan. Keep the page flat, use even light and crop away the desk. Upload a PNG or JPG of artwork you own or have permission to use.
- Choose a mood and style. Start with a direction such as soft pastels or warm autumn colors, then generate a preview.
- Pick the ideas you want to keep. Look at the main colors, contrast and shading. Save the preview you like; another generation uses additional credits.
- Swatch and color on paper. Choose similar colors from your supplies, test them on the same paper and keep the preview beside you as a reference.
Can I make a color plan for Ohuhu or Copic markers?
You can use a ColorBestie preview as a starting point for the overall color direction. For physical marker choices, use the separate tools below. Check the supported series and set before comparing codes: a reference chart may contain colors that are not in your own box.
- Photo to Marker Palette finds up to three digital color matches from a selected marker set for a color in your reference image.
- Marker Color Converter compares digital swatches across available brands and sets, including Ohuhu and Copic Ciao.
- Marker Blending Helper helps you look for lighter and darker markers for shading.
- Swatch Chart Maker makes a printable chart you can fill with your own ink on paper.
A generated preview does not guarantee an exact color plan using only the markers you own. On-screen colors, paper, ink layers and lighting can differ. Always check suggested alternatives with real swatches.
Do I need a full preview or just a color palette?
- See your own page in color: use the ColorBestie app to generate a preview.
- Choose a few colors that work together: use the free Alcohol Marker Palette Generator. Its HEX colors are inspiration, not exact marker codes.
- Follow a tutorial with another marker brand: try the free DecoTime to Ohuhu converter or the full marker converter.
What is free, and what uses credits?
Your first five standard previews are free. Further previews use paid credits. A standard preview costs one credit; example-photo style-reference mode costs three paid credits and is outside the free allowance. The website color tools above are free and do not use preview credits. See current pricing and credit rules before buying.
